Asura respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable copyright laws.

Content Policy

Asura is an online service provider as defined in the DMCA. We provide an online platform for users to access content. We do not claim ownership of the content hosted on third-party servers or uploaded by users.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on this site, please notify our copyright agent as set forth in the DMCA.

Notification of Infringement

To file a copyright infringement notification with us, you will need to send a written communication that includes substantially the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (URL).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us. To be effective, a counter-notification must be in writing and include the user’s contact info, identification of the material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability.
